Brian J. Ilg is a corporate security leader, consultant, and author with 31 years of experience spanning frontline security operations, multi-site corporate security leadership, crisis-management coordination, security technology, and operational design.
His career began in frontline security and progressed into senior corporate-security leadership roles, where he has supported large-scale operations, led teams, coordinated incident and crisis response, and worked across access control, video surveillance, security operations, and organizational resilience.
Through Clearpost Advisory, Brian helps organizations strengthen their physical-security programs through practical assessments, strategic planning, operational design, and security-focused advisory support.
Brian wrote From Guard to Corporate Security Professional to help security professionals make the transition from task-focused work to greater responsibility, stronger professional judgment, and a more intentional corporate-security career.
